The Beauty of Field Township

Enjoy endless fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and bird watching in the beautiful northern rivers, fields and forests of our area. Wildlife is frequently spotted, skirting the edge of civilization – provided you are in the right place at the right time!  Although our landscape is varied and worth exploring, we are especially proud of our two rivers (located in the southern portion of Field Township) and two creeks:

  • Little Fork River – this flows into the Rainy River

  • Rice River – a tributary of the Little Fork River

  • Alango Creek

  • Flint Creek
